Good find. I too am looking for test pipes for my AWD sedan. Please post here when they come in and once they're installed!

The resonated versions are nice. I run the OBX test pipes and love them. Give a very coupe like exhaust sound with the rest of the exhaust being stock:

If you go this route I would HIGHLY recommend getting the Z1 header gaskets. The gaskets that come with these cheap test pipes are complete garbage. I used a little high temp rtv in the corners of the Z1 gasket as well. The older gaskets I removed were blown in 3 different places.

Dunno, my OBX RTPs aren't real loud, I think if you stick w/ the resonated sets combined w/a typical catback setup the volume should be reasonable.
If they were non-resonated, then yeah, might **** off the neighbors, lol.

If I bought these and left the rest of my exhaust Oem (10' g37 sport sedan) would it be obnoxiously loud? Or is it a nice deep tone? I was thinking about tanabe axle back but it barely improves sound for $500...

Resonated test pipes with the OEM exhaust is a slight increase in loudness, but not by much. It has a good tone to it.

Alright so what do you think I should get for around $200-500 that would add a nice deep growl? I'm still learning all these things about exhaust systems so I'm still a little unsure. I've heard axle backs on YouTube and none of them actually increased the sound at all... And I can't find any test pipe videos!

Not going to find anything in that price range unless you can find something used. I always wanted a resonated test pipe and Tanabe axle back combo before I went with my current exhaust plan. Can usually find the Tanabe axle back for $400 used and can get the test pipes for $160ish new. This is all before the price of installation and don't forget the Z1 gaskets.

So z1 gaskets with the eBay OBX test pipes and a tanabe exhaust will give me a nice growl (no rasp?) that's better then Oem? Btw what exhaust are you rolling with? Just curious
