Drivability.... how's the torque hitting you? LW flywheel, 4.08 gears plus the drive shaft must be nice with that less rotational mass....

Yes I have all that you said. Did not notice any difference in the shaft other than extra vibration. But when I took it to the dyno I had gains. 6/4 hp/tq. With the gears that was the biggest noticible difference. Takes off like a rocket and fly through all the gears. But, I lost hp/tq and gas mileage is pretty much awful. The real test will be these gears with my FI TT kit which is just collecting dust in my garage. People have told me different things so I will find out myself. Might possibly have to switch back to stock gears

Same here. I'm working towards BP single turbo kit and going to go back to stock gearing. Gonna drop in a tomei 1.5 way LSD at the snow time. The gears been a great upgrade and my south bend setup just got broken in so I'm ready to feel out the difference properly. Good to see the driveshaft gets some gains. Wasn't expecting much as its not power mod. Ever took your G to the drag strip? Are you still spraying? What are your numbers NA/n2o?

Well if the driveshaft makes the car vibrate then I'm out. There has got to be a shaft that's lighter and doesn't vibrate. That sucks

Was looking into the carbon fiber drive shaft also, not going to do it if the vibration is so noticeable. I want to find a 1.5 way LSD with 3.9 gears to add to my 2008 37S Coupe 5AT. I don't want to sacrifice too much mpg going with the 4.08

I hear ya there, wanted to grab some gears and a shaft myself but being only a 5AT, MPG is already bad enough lol. Plus I'll be FI later and I hear the slower gears are where its at.
