They do..its called downshifting! LoL

I am pretty sure its not the rev limiter because there is no way its set that low. I agree that it could be the trans starting to slip..have you had the differential checked? Could be drive gear slipage

^^What do you define as the drive gear? The gear that's on the end of the drive shaft? I'd imagine any drive shaft slippage would cause all sorts of harsh noise and other metal/metal grinding sounds.

I have done this both at operating temps and cold starts... same thing happens either way.

I would love to just think that it is a rev limiter and call it a day, but it just seems incredibly strange to me that the "rev limiter" only limits when my foot is off the gas pedal. Could that be a thing?

I'm pretty certain it's also not my trans slipping or anything with my dif, because other than this, the car drives like a dream. And that would just be too strange that the gears only slip when I'm going so slow. Plus, like Jsolo said, i would imagine it wouldnt be a slight lurch if this was happening... I'm sure I would KNOW.

I dont think I'll be going up there this weekend, but next time I do, I'll take a video and post it so you can see exactly what is going on.
