Auto jerks forward when coming to a stop?
What's up guys, I have noticed recently that my car jerks forward a bit when coming to a stop sometimes. The car shifts fine but it's just when I come to a complete stop and the car downshifts from 2nd to 1st. When this happens the rpms are normal so I have no idea what it could be. I have 2009 g37x with 108k miles and I am thinking it is the tranny fluid needing the be flushed.
I don't want to do it myself and am currently saving up to pay for the dealer to do it. Any idea what this could be? Really worried right now that my transmission is going. I also noticed that when I rev the engine only to 2k in idle, the rpms stay at 2k for a couple seconds then drop back down normally. Any help is greatly appreciated, I am very worried about about the transmission. I have new spark plugs and I cleaned the throttle body and also just received the ecm update from Infiniti. Really hoping it's just a tranny fluid flush. Going to Infiniti Tuesday morning. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. The car was just at Infiniti for rough downshifting and they applied the ecm update and said that should take care of it. I am hoping it is really nothing, the tech who drove the car around didn't even mention it so maybe it's not as bad as I think. I'm going to show them Tuesday morning.

When you go back, remember to request the tech to ride along while you try to replicate the problem. Often times when you describe to the service rep, they might interpret it differently and the tech will have no clue what you are talking about. Good luck
