Clutch pedal not returning after bleeding

Hey guys, so last last night tried to change out my clutch fluid with a buddy. Opened the valve and pumped the pedal up and down to remove all the old fluid.
I know I sucked in air. But I did perform the bleed procedure
Where you pump the pedal 3 times and with the pedal down you open the bleeder, and quickly close it... and repeat.
So now, my clutch won't come back up!
I was at it for a while and nothing. When I Crack the line open all I would see is a tiny bit of fluid move through the hose. And no more bubbles / air pockets.
Just wondering if you guys had any tips or suggestions I'm stuck

Sorry to hear bro. The first action should be to check for leaks at the slave cylinder and lines. If no leaks, could be something with the master cylinder.

Hope you get it worked out...

People have a difficult time bleeding this clutch. Try vacuum bleeding it from the bleed screw, or from the master cylinder reservoir. DO NOT pressure bleed it.

Thanks guys. So after digging and asking around this is what worked for me. Reason I went for a flush and bleed was because I lost some pedal pressure for a brief moment.

813G37S- I checked the reservoir as I pumped, no fluid movement. So I'm pretty sure no leak. And I agree, and later discovered after trying to flush the system I had air pockets stuck in master which was causing the pedal to not return.

Black Betty- after some research you are correct, pressure bleeding didn't help. I was skeptical about doing the vacuum bleeding. So, I let it gravity bleed. I raised and supported the front end as high as I could and let it drain all the fluid it out the valve into a bleeder bottle. Granted I went through a lot of fluid... it got the job done. Mostly by myself.
After about 10min in between I would pump the pedal to circulate the fluid about 4 times. I would leave the pedal raised and open the bleeder and watch the bubbles flow through. I saw few come up to the reservoir but mostly out the bottom from the valve.
Lol hope this helps anyone else. I was also going to unbolting the master and moving up. But drove the car 8 miles on the street with no issues.

Sorry for reopening this thread but I am having a similar problem and have tried a bunch of things.
So first off I followed the FSM for bleeding the clutch and got some fluid to come out. I did this for about 3 times and after the second time the pedal stuck to the floor. I had my partner just manually lift and pump again and this time I did not get anything out.
I proceeded to try and gravity bleed it for a bit like how 180jsun did it. This did not yield any results.
Next I bought a vacuum bleeder and tried that through the bleeder and did not get anything out.
Then I tried reverse bleeding and that did not work out either.
I looked in the fluid container and the fluid levels never changed.
Really desperate and in need of the car since it is my daily. Anybody got any ideas? Did I do something wrong? Could it be a dead Master Cylinder?

Got pressure back in the clutch.
Way I got it back was disconnect the master from the pedal and pushed the rod in as far in as possible a couple of times (Kinda hard to do with the pedal in the way).
After that I proceeded to just pump the clutch a bunch at a moderate pace. With the clutch up I cracked open the bleeder and got a couple dribbles of fluid (I had not seen fluid come out of the bleeder before this since the very first open).
Then I got a buddy and had him pump the clutch and hold the clutch down. I then opened the bleeder and a stream of fluid came out. Checked the master and finally the levels went down.
Kept repeating the pumping process, about 25 pumps, then opening the bleeder, let fluid flow, close bleeder with fluid still flowing.
Eventually a few air burst came out. I kept up the process up another few times and pressure started to build in the pedal.
Not sure if I got all the air out but it the pedal works again.

I did it both ways. When I had a second person helping me I had them hold down the pedal while I opened the bleeder. When they had to go I just gravity bled it.
Have fun!

So gravity bleed is the only way to go on these cars. I learned that

Idk where all the action went in this thread but I jus replaced my master clutch. Wat a nightmare removing it. But I've learned doing the pedal method is a waste of time. I will only gravity bleed from now on. It's so much easier and don't need 2 people
