Hello everyone

As I'm driving my car this light came on and it won't go away. This isn't the traction control off button as that says "off" when I toggle it.

Please help? Thanks

 

Not sure, that light usually comes on only briefly when your wheels have lost traction. If its on solid my gut would say that the DSC sensor needs to be checked or replaced. Have never seen something like this before so maybee someone else wants to chime in if they feel differently. It look like yours is a newer coupe (2010+) so run it to a dealer and have em check it if your still under warranty...

Have you checked your owners manual? Mine (09 sedan)doesn't have that symbol listed but if yours is newer they may have changed the symbol or added a feature that mine doesn't have
That should be listed in the book.

 

Check your brake fluid. Could be low.

If brake fluid is fine, then you possibly need an alignment.

But the light staying lit seems to mean something is broken.

 

That light is what they call the VDC =known as Vehicle Dynamic Control which also work off the ABS system several things it could be causing the failure and light to remain on. Would need the DTC code stored in the ABS system to know further

 

this that too much burnout light. lol. turn the car off and turn it back on.... works for me

 

Might try to disconect the neg batt terminal for 10 min to reset the computer.

 

It went away when I turned off the car and back on.

But I am going to get it checked just to be safe. Thanks guys!

 

Wheel speed sensor ,

But has to do with traction. The light will flicker when you rears break lose but should go back off, IT is stayed on the speed sensor might be bad.

 

I had that same issue once before. Especially if I drive up or down ramps. Check your brake fluid if its low. Usually that light would pop up because I was low on brake fluid and when my car would either go up/down a ramp, that low fluid would tip the sensor and stay on until I shut the car off. Top off the brake fluid and see that resolves the issue.
