Clicking noise speed increases with acceleration

I have an 08 journey. Yesterday I was driving and I noticed a clicking sound as if it were behind my dash. I noticed as I accelerated the noise would also increase in speed, and as I would slow down, it as well would slow down. I couldn't find the issue, it doesn't happen all the time but I do notice when it does. Sorry I'm not good at explaining things but if anyone has had a similar issue please share your experience with this problem. I will try to post a video tomorrow.

Are you running your AC while this is happening. I hear a quiet whine or whistle upon acel/decel when running my AC.

Could be your brake pad wear feeler clip, if the pads are down to the wear clip it may be making the noise you describe.
