FOR WHAT!

My installed Kit was only $9700? I wasn't even into mine for that much with the upgraded heat exchanger, Impeller, Cogs, Injectors, Pump and retune.

The SC kit, transmission oil cooler, engine oil cooler, Level10 shift kit (automatic tranny), and the tune. That's what he wants for the job. It's a reputable authorized Stillen shop just 5 miles from my mother-in-law's house. I wish it were cheaper, but I'd rather have to pay more to have it done well and feel good about it than pay less and have doubts about the work and whether or not the guy is gonna be open in a year to fix it.

Nice. How long do they plan to take for the job? Will you be getting a baseline dyno, then a dyno before and after tuning?

I really look forward to hearing your results and how it drives after the shift kit, tune and blower.

Well at least they're close and if your comfortable then it works. I didn't even know level 10 made a shift kit for the 7SPD.

They have 2 1/2 hrs projected for dyno tuning. Say they're using the UpRev tuning. Will ask for a dyno run prior to tuning. They will ship the valvebody to Level10 back East, so there will be some down time. Haven't gotten a response for a date yet. I gave them 1 weekend in April that I can drop it off. I can only get out there 2 weekends a month because of work. My work schedule is made 2 months in advance and I have a few Saturdays/Sundays every month I have to be in the building. When they finish it it might sit for a week before I can pick it up. Wifey will like the visits to her mom's house. Just ordered my sway bar kit and strut brace to install. It'll be a fun car. I'll probably keep it until it's 15 years old--like I always do.

Got my date. Gonna drop it off April 18th. It will be rolling this Summer! I'll post some pics and the dyno runs! If not mistaken, I think its about 275WHP stock. Hoping for 440WHP after the install. I wonder what the other guys here with the Stillen SC got for HP?

You should be a happy camper once you get everything done, I'm guessing you would be closer to 400whp though. Can't wait to see it!

I have a 5500 rev limiter on my car right now for my motor 'break in' period which equates to about 450whp and the other night down in Mexico I walked a c7 vette, new 5.0 mustang, and ctsv even though my car is handicapped.

Sounds like a plan . You won't see 440 WHP 415 The most. but be happy there especially if you want to keep it a long time.

Just dropped it off this morning! It was a 400 mile drive from Omaha, and the wife was willing to come with the spare car because it's 20 min from her mom.

Thanks to you guys for the input on the project. Many other threads have been helpful. I got some AEM boost, oil temp, and xmission temp guages for them to install. They will do before and after dynos, so I will see what's been done.

Have a set of Hotchkis sway bars and Cusco strut brace to install myself when it gets back.

They said the longest thing will be getting the valve body done by Level 10, then the whole shop will do my car together. He seems to think it will be just a few days after the valve body gets back.

Can't wait. It's gonna be sweet!

Stillen said they had a smaller SC pulley if I wanted to run 93 octane fuel. It would be fun, but 93 octane is rare here and would be a real bear to find while travelling.
