Dumb question about Tanabe exhaust
Hey guys, I'm interested in the tanabe exhaust and this is a dumb question to ask but does the axle back + tanabe y pipe + tanabe x pipe= full catback? Does the x or the y pipes touch any component of the cats at all making it catless? I feel stupid asking this question but gotta start somewhere. Thanks!
Engine -> exhaust manifolds -> cats -> Y pipe -> mid pipe -> mufflers.
To remove catalytic converters you have to replace them with high flow cats or test pipes. The Tanabe components start at the outlet of the catalytic converters. They don't replace or remove them. Yes, the 3 components you mentioned make a full catback exhaust system.
