so i had a busted flex pipe, and i finally had a reason to do something with my exhaust.

to please my wife, i had to keep it quiet, so after searching the forum, i decided to try the magnaflow resonated x pipe.

i eliminated the flex pipes and stock resonators, and had 2.5" piping all the way to the stock mufflers (sedan).

combined with the cnt high flow cat, it sounds a bit louder than a coupe, and my butt dyno says its faster.

and my wife didnt notice any sound difference, so a win win for me.

 

 

Looks good! I did a full custom 2.5" exhaust with JUST that resonated xipe. It sounds amazing.

I know this thread is old but I was thinking of running a similar set up Purez33! Do you have any vids of how it sounds?

 

I know this is a very old post but crossing my fingers for a response... Do you think you could have gotten away with moving the x pipe a tad bit closer to the oem cat location?? I have test pipes and am trying to find a way to fit this 11386 muffler inbetween the oem resonators location and the oem cat location essentially directly replacing the y pipe with this x pipe muffler.
