Smoke coming from the grill

I did a search and couldn't find anything -_-....

It's been relatively "cold" (California cold ~55f on the day of the event). Now I know that the vq runs hot however thought it was kinda weird that there was a small amount of steam coming from grill area when I was stopped at a light... Pulled into a gas station and opened up the hood and couldn't see where the steam was coming from... Temperature levels were normal smack dab in the middle. checked the coolant levels - fine. Checked the oil - fine. I did however just wash my car at home prior to going out.

Could this have just been steam from the hot engine air and the cold ambient? or a little pocket of water which was just getting heated up in the engine bay? I've also noticed a small faded area in the grill where the smoke was coming out of... I'll try and get a photo of it tonight.

Car is stock with about 58k miles. Any ideas?

Is it raining? Most likely steam. Unless it has an odor?

no odor or anything i was thinking it was just steam too. just curious if anybody else has had this happen to them before. those "burn" marks on the grill are a bit concerning to me though, what i've also noticed is that my parents 2008 lexus rx350 also has a similar effect on its grill except the "chrome" is more like a sticker and is just peeling instead of turning black.... any body have those marks on their grill or know where they could possibly come from???

I think its just steam. I get the same thing and I live in cali as well...though I know that has nothing to do with it. From what I can tell its normal, the car runs fine...no smells no warnings
