Takeda long tubes does not fit sedan??

I was looking to get one for my 11' sedan and read that aFe redesigned it and it wont fit the sedan. Anyone who bought one recently can you confirm? Read it on amazon and confirmed on aFe website.

Seems to be true. There are reviews on Amazon of people describing not only that it doesn't fit perfectly, but how and why.

"Product was redesigned by advanced flow engineering. Confirmed through support call with aFe. Couplers and front tubes are not the same as what's shown in product description. Redesign does not fit correctly on g37 sedan. Bumper cover grill will hit and damage filter without adding one inch spacers between front tube tab and bumper bracket. After adding spacers, couplers are pushed back creating more restricted air flow since the rubber elbow becomes compressed."

My best advice is to scramble around and try and pick-up a first gen system. These will probably deplete quickly since most places will be doing a FIFO system.

I chatted with MOD bargins who called aFe. They talked to Steve over there who said it will fit and their website is wrong. So I ended up getting them after all.

I dont see why it won't fit on sedan. I actually first saw it on a guy's sedan in my local G club and ended up getting one for my coupe. So yes it fits perfectly.

I guess the filter would be hitting the grille once you tried to put the bumper back on.
