need some advise..

Hi guys I have 09 g37s coupe. It has got 45000 miles on it now.
I am hearing grinding noise when I shift fast. I think it would be better
idea to replace the whole tranny to a new one. I saw new oem tranny and it was like 1.7 grand $200 shipping. Will it be worth to replace?

And plus I was experiencing something like slipping(or losing a grip) from gas pedal when I was in full throttle. Does it mean that my clutch is also worn down?

Thanks for reading and appreciate your comments!

Take it to the dealer. You have a powertrain warranty till 70,000 miles. They will tell you if anything is wrong with the transmission and most parts are covered under this. Clutch is the exception if it is worn or burnt out.

Sounds like the clutch might be on it's way out. Bring it to the dealer and have them take a look. Definitely do not drop 2k on a tranny when you haven't even properly diagnosed the car yet.
