G37X 7AT - manual DS mode

I've been playing with the manual shifting mode of my 37x 7AT. I can't seem to get the hang of it.

Do I have the hold the gas pedal steady when shifting? Let up on it while it shifts? Problem is the manual mode of the 7AT shifts sorta slow, so I'll shift and it will sorta just rev and hang and then shift, and it feels like I get kicked in the rear. Not sure how to run the gas pedal.

Are there some guidelines for using the manual mode on the 7AT? Right now it just seems to give me something fancy to do to downshift, and then poorly shift and screw with the RPMs as I try to use it.

Just curious as to what the guides are to make the manual mode actually pleasant.

You should read up on getting a grounding kit. It will lower the lag time.
