I wouldn't buy Stillen's SC. Their tune is terrible too. It really takes a custom tune to run right, but the entire kit is inferior compared to GTM's offerings. If you are looking to save cash, find someone willing to sell their GTM SC setup. The stage 1 GTM kit makes similar power to the Stillen, but power ramps up faster, it's quieter, and the canned tune is worlds better.

i have the stillen kit....i would suggest if you buy it to install it and have it tune professionally... their tune does suck major ***** because they made it 50 state carb legal... however i dont care for anything that gtm has made just my personal opinion nothing against gtm im sure they make a good product just would rather go with greddy or hks for anything forced induction... with that being said the above post is correct their supercharger system is in fact pretty silent but depending on the deal you get its completely up to you...

Nothing wrong with the stillen kit (hardware), all it needs is a good tune.

The fact that the seller told you that you can run it on the Stillen tune would be enough to scare me off!! He either has no idea what he is talking about or is trying to convince you that his kit will be cheaper! Either way it sounds dodgy!

As mentioned above, wait for another kit and DEFINITELY get it tuned. Every car is slightly diffrent so needs its own tune to get the most performance and more importantly, safety out of it.

From: Framingham Ma,
Agree with jersey G37 , you couldn't pay me to buy a GTM product , I made good power on my Stillen (412 WHP) then modded it to a STG 2 and made 457 WHP and this was on a X coupe. Stillen is fine just get a custom tune

I like new, when it comes to mechanical parts.... Well.... All parts, but particularly mechanical parts. You never know what some moron has done to the parts they are pushing.

I like the Stillen kit a lot. A few locals here in Miami have made excellent numbers from a great tune on 93 octane and E85.

Good luck with your decision, just be sure to get it checked out prior to purchasing.
