OEM Clutch Rating?

First off, sorry if this has been asked (I've searched the forums and online)

Does anyone know the Torque Rating on the OEM clutch? I'm second guessing replacing it right now because I have a 2 month old OEM in right now. But I'm about to TT (I know cost effective to do it now) and I need to know what the stock can handle so I can decide on whether to replace it now or wait.

^does anyone have any experience with Z1's clutch/flywheel?

If you are going to TT it I highly suggest a better clutch set up. Check out ACT they have some great clutches

Some guys have hit 570whp with the stock clutch, but it will still toast the clutch fairly fast. Just replace it while you're there anyway. The stock clutch will hold different amounts based on how old the friction material on it is. Just replace.

There's a local guy on here who's got a SC in his convertible. He's been running stock clutch/trans successfully for a while now.

Fezzik, you around?

Depending on your torque output and how you drive it, it may hold up for a while. But sooner or later (probably sooner) it will give out. At that point you'll lament not upgrading it now and getting it all done at once.

Ok I think I've narrowed it down to the CC Stage 3 and the South Bend Stage 3 Daily...

I have the Southbend stage 3 daily. It's a good unit and has held up great so far for 30K miles. It does give your left leg quite a workout though.
