Worth tunning with UpRev with HFCs/TestPipes?

I know this is N/A motor (vs boosted where a tune alone can provide significant gains) but....

is UpRev worth on a stock G37?

what about a car with HFC/TestPipes?

Money vs gains on stock is probobly not worth it, but what about uprev with HFC or testpipes

Thanks

I read a thread somewhere on here before that said something like "only worth it if 2 or more breathing mods are installed"

There's other benefits to a tune than just power though, like reduced throttle lag and better gas mileage.

Honestly, only you can decide if its worth it

You will need to retune every time you put new performance mod on.... get intake, HFC or TP, and full exhaust then it's worth the tune. I will be getting uprev tune pretty soon. quoted $675 out the door from local tune shop,

You won't have to retune with every mod...the OE parameters are still the same, and the system still can flux. By the way, there was a point in time when UpRev was hurting for sales. There are a few shops out there that do UpRev but are EXTREMELY uneducated on the do's and don'ts...make sure you go to a FORUM "heard of" shop to do your tuning!

If you're still under warranty i wouldnt do it. Besides, the gains seem to be pretty negligible to spend 500 on the software and at least another 500 for a dyno tune

It's 600 for the tune that includes dyno time.
Imagine spending 1k for a tune, maybe on a gtr.
Kevalteam, I got a good tuner for you, pm or call me.

Hypertech is pretty popular if you're on a budget. Good review here: https://www.myg37.com/forums/engine-...plified-3.html

Regardless, with an uprev tune by a tuner who knows what they're doing, you will notice a difference even if the performance gains are modest at best.
