Getting a uprev tune soon, a question arises.

I have a g37s coupe that i m getting tuned next week at Zcar garage in san jose. Currently I have FI catback and Stillen gen3.

My dilemma is that i might not keep the FI catback. If I got a tune with FI Catback and decided to go back to stock, will I have to get re-tuned again?
or will I be able to still use the tuned-map with stock exhaust without any complications or problems?

When you get tuned the tuner adjusts your a/f ratio and timing to maximize your performance and fuel consummation. Your intake and exhaust allows your motor to breath better than your stock components. When you go back to stock you would need to get re-tuned to have the motor running properly.

There are 5 MAPS available to you.
Make one the stock tune.
You can use the cruise control switch to select which tune you want.

They will most likely make
1 Tuned
2 Stock tune
3 Valet (3K rpm and 30mph limited)
4 Kill (you set it to that, no one can start your car!!)
5 Optional setup

When you go back to stock, you might want to have the stock tune replaced, but you will lose your license.
I bought a cable to store my license, or sell it, just in case.
