I would rather go CF (carbon fiber) driveshaft after contacting a few shops like Precision Shaft Tech and Drivetrain Industries and reading the g35 forum link bluedevils posted above if I were to get a 1pc driveshaft.

For example:
"We have done carbon fiber driveshafts for the G35 so far but I would think that we could also do one for the G37 as well. We would have to ship your core in so that we can get the length and identify the correct parts needed. Price for a carbon fiber 1pc replacement shaft would be $1,250.00.*A 1pc aluminum driveshaft may be possible and would cost much less. However, with an aluminum shaft it may require a*much larger diameter tube depending on the length needed and that may create some clearance issues on the car.*There would also be no guarantee on the 1pc aluminum not having any vibration issues..." - Drivetrain Industries

 

Bluedevils, I would like the carbon fiber driveshaft but it all depends on number of people interested in the Group Buy and the final price.

Well, everything is going to be set for the Aluminum. It would be cheaper for everyone and when i collect money from everyone to pick it up i don't want to carry 20k in cash to the vendor. All though he might like that. Aluminum will be better for everyone budget.

I asked for all models sedans/coupes, rwd/awd, and auto/manual for G37's. I'm waiting for his reply back. Maybe all this is a bit overwhelming for him? lol.

He said he will put the carbon fiber driveshaft in production for us if we gain enough interest. So I guess no price quote until we got enough guys interested in a Group Buy...

 

You can throw my name in the hat. I will want to know the price and the specifics about what components are included with the shaft before comitting to buy though.
