I'm looking for input from those of you with custom tunes. What are your setpoints set at for your rev limiter? Do you have them set different for different gears? What's the highest safe RPM for these VQ's? At what RPM do they typically take a turn when making power?

I'm looking into doing the e-tune with UpRev as I don't have a tuner within four hours of me. I'm looking for a few data points so I know where I should be starting at.

Cant set them for different gears.

I left it alone, as power starts to drop off at 7300.

Tuner set mine at 8k so I can shift at 7.5k without fail ha

 

I usually leave them stock since there's not much power to be made by raising it on a motor with stock internals, but you can raise it to 8000 if you want.
