RHFC Rattle fix?

So I had a Fast Intention RHFC installed and now it rattles like crazy when I am idling. Besides having the stock supports being welded to the RHFC, is there any other fix? Would the rattle be a sign that the RHFCs are hitting the subframe or other part? Was thinking of wrapping them in high temp tape for exhausts to prevent the rattle, think that will work?

Otherwise, the power and the sound from the RHFC are awesome. Just need to fix this rattle...

You need to a little more homework:

What's rattling? The pipe against the frame, or the internals?

One is relatively easy, the other is not.

Let us know. No one can make suggestions if they have not experienced the same dilemma.

good question. Im not really sure. Hopefully its the pipe against the frame and not the internals. It appears when I am idling normally. I know I''ve read on here that the FI RHFC don't re use the stock cat brace and that some people have figured out a way to stop the rattle based on welding something to the stock braces. Figured more people had this issue.

Will do, did you install it yourself or did you have someone else do it?

This is actually the third owner in two weeks complaining about this. One local guy had the same issue that was pointed out during a summer meet. He's still having a problems with that exhaust.

What are you talking about?

This is a fast intention high flow cat, not some knock off.

Just curious if anyone found a fix for this? I'm thinking of jumping into a group buy on the FI RHFC but keep reading about the rattling issues.

Any insight would be appreciated.
