That cooler would honestly be good for highway pulls, and even then, maybe 2 back to back pulls at a time. If you're planning on going WOT for an extended time (more than ~20 seconds), it probably wont be enough.

As for gauges, have you looked at the PLX for ARK MFD2? (yes, that ARK). Gauges and all the probes/sensors will probably cost you another 1k. The ones I'd recommend you get are oil temp, oil pressure, water temp, and EGT. Boost and AFR are moot, as you'll know if either are off via other symptoms.
For the oil cooler..I thinkg 20 sec is long enough for me, even when I go to the track, I dont thing my runs will take more than 20 secs

You mean losing the function of the music? On mines my radio still functions normally even when the gauge display is on. I have a aux module hooked up to it

An reading of the factory ECU and being able to read and clear codes is nice,, Reminds me of my Cobb tuner.
That's what is nice about the Blitz, you can switch back and forth between the Radio display and the gauges with the touch of a button and it will not interrupt your music. You do need an extra module to allow you to bypass the factory screen which is about $200 but it's worth it. Very clean gauge display. i can take a video tomorrow so you can get a better idea.

Yea I did not mean losing the music just the display, I would not like to switch back and forth. I like to monitor the gauges 100% of the time, But if for pics. Also the blitz can not monitor the trans temp? Big thing I want to see with the auto tranny

You're not gonna be looking at gauges when you're driving. Set up a system where if ANY parameter goes out of your wanted range, you get a (big red) light and an audible tone. This is also why I don't recommend boost and afr gauges. Most gauges will hold peak/dip readings, but that's not enough IMO.

the gauges can get annoying at times because you're always trying to look at it while driving. Whenever I drive it hard I reset my peak so it'll record the highest numbers during that run and set my parameters where I want it to be at then if it goes past that my hks will show all red numbers. I didn't hook up the audio though, because that thing is annoyinh

I know its weird but at times I just want to look over and see things, I used to monitor KR all the time in my MS3. With the stillen I was to watch what the boost is doing and the trans an oil temps.

Interesting prescott3656, I would like to get more info about that module that you speak of. I've managed for the last 2 years by just switching back and forth between audio and video, which can get annoying at times. ANMVQ fyi, you can monitor your trans temp using the Blitz R-vit if you buy the right harness. I purchased one but haven't put it on yet. Still undecided if I'm ready to tap my trans oil pan.

See that might be another thing,, Tapping the pan for a temp sensor is EH??? The unit I am looking at reads it through the ECU( OBII) port,

Let's say you wanna monitor egt. You'll have to tap it on the header. AFR tap it before the cats. Oil pressure youll need to get a oil pressure "T" adapter to tap on the factory sensor or buy a oil cooler sandwich adapter that had a bung pre drilled. For oil temp you can add a oil pan spacer or tap your upper oil pan.

Pretty much anything you want to monitor you'll need a sensor and a tap for it.

So far I only know the blitz can read oil temps based off the ecu. I had to tap mines on the hks camp 2. Not sure about the trans temp also.
