From: Framingham Ma,
2k at the dealer is not bad. Some people like it some dont. Some go with GTM's kit.. I only heard good things on the GTM kit( Way I'm leaning) and bad and good with the Stillen-Including a blown motor after they installed Stillens headers. The thread was on here for a while then vanished???

Don't do it! But if you do make sure whoever does the install has at least done it before and talk to the people they have done the work for. Make sure they didn't have issues with the install. If they haven't done an install before don't do it! If you think 2k is too much then don't do it! You better be ready to spend money ..........

don't even think about going FI if money is an issue, if you want a complete package, be ready with at least 10g, i recommend 15g, just encase if things goes wrong. Same applies to GTM, also find someone you can trust to tune you car locally, tune done at other locations is never perfect for your location.

2k is way too much, a local shop that does great work on high end cars only charges 800 to 1000 install on any supercharger. the stillen kit is easy to install im in missoui btw

its the tuning that gets you, not the install of the kit

Doesn't the kit come with a canned tune?? Maybe Stillen has it right by now???
My GTM "canned" tune has been running flawlessly for over a year.
Agreed that 2k is a bit steep for install, $1000-1300 would be more like it.
