STS Turbo Kit for G37!

I was speaking to Freddy over at Squires Turbo Systems. I'm sure as most of you know the 370z STS kit is being released and seems to be making pretty good power. I asked them if they were going to develop a kit for the G37. They're definitely interested since most of the parts will carry on over from the 370z. They just need a G37 to use to test fit and possibly fab up the different components.

This is the E-mail that Freddy sent me:

Just let people know we would do a free install and tuning with the purchase of the kit here at the STS facility in Utah. They can contact Freddy at 1-866-WE-Turbo ext 809 for details. Thanks man

The kit itself will be $6195 and comes complete with engine management, fuel system upgrades, STS front mount air to air intercooler, STS/Turbosmart blow off valve and wastegate and a STS GT-35/60-1 turbo capable of up to 620hp.

So anybody over on the west coast interested??? If so call Freddy and tell him Eugene from the forums recommended you.

Personally I'm more of the opinion when some shop wants to use my car as guinea pig to make and sell a product it should ALL be free. They will have your car for god knows how long, beating the crap out of it on the dyno, all with a rough tune until they get it worked out. Just not worth losing the car for weeks/months with the added wear and tear.

I could be wrong but I'm sure the tune wouldn't be too rough given the fact that they have base maps for the 370z. But yeah I definitely see what you're saying.

That's about the price of a supercharger kit!
I saw a video with a 370z who had this kit, on youtube, and sounded efin amazing!

Seems like it sits a bit low on the 370z but it was kinda hard to tell from the pics because it was bad angles.

IMO way to much money for a kit you can outsource yourself. with the exception of the tune i mean, the super charger and tt turbo kit come with two of everything this kit has and sits at a similar price. or even the supercharger which is a more reliable alternative with all its custom parts is cheaper. This kit is a rip off.... maybe if it was 4-5 thousand i could say hey theyre turning a profit but really ? 6100

I was going to be the test vehicle for this project, but unfortunately things went south and I'm not able to ship the car to the other side of the country. I'd really be interested to see them come out with a kit for the 37 though.
