I would love to be able to get into the car and then decide the mode for that day. If it was a long highway cruise, program the ECU for MPG. Normal commute would be in the middle and a fun cruise tilted towards performance.

This seems to be right down Cobbs' alley, but they have discontinued it. Does anyone know of any good ECU interfaces or even just data loggers for the G?

I want to play doctor and create multiple personalities, do you blame me?

Hardware:
2011 G37 7AT Premium/Nav/Sport
2006 Macbook

I don't think your going to get a "Mr. Hyde" effect from a programmer alone... anything short of force induction will only give a marginal gain in performance.

Wouldn't uprev allow you to do multiple maps and switch via the steering wheel inputs?

Yes, you would have these options..

1- 50 hp decrease (valet mode)
2- Stock
3- +5 hp
4- +15 hp
5- +25 hp (with supporting mods)

Not any increases in performance to write home about....

Big laggy set of turbos would do it. Nice and docile below 5000rpm and a beast above that. HAHA
