Thanks for all the interest! Gonna take a break from anything big for a while since I just did coilovers. I have a bit of cash so which should I get:

AIT carbonfiber engine cover

OR

Samco rad hoses (and should they be blue or black)

I say get the AIT engine cover... I think that's gonna be my next under the hood mod.

+1 engine cover. I'm just not sure about hoses in color unless it's a whole "theme" you're looking for.

Powder coated tubes are interesting, but would do the cross brace as well for continuity.

i have some nismo stuff (rad and oil cap) for the engine bay coming in the mail, Spacers in the mail, and likely ordering the engine cover this week! keep checkin in

Are you having any issues with the GTSPEC rubbing against the engine cover or digging into the hood insulator? It seems like the sweet spot is to have it touching the hood liner for me. Are you experiencing the same thing?

The CF engine cover will actually give you extra room for the GTSPEC brace. Another good reason to pick one up.
