Just ordered K&N SRI 69-7078ts from amazon lowest price I could find... just curious if any one else has this intake snd if K&N's claims of 14.2hp gains are legit and how it dounf?

Make sure you do a review , i believe you are the first!!!

 

Please do a before and after dyno if you can. If that intake produces that power it will fly off shelves I can't want to see how it looks/sounds/improves.

 

Count me as a skeptic. The intake system was designed pretty well on these cars so IMO there isnt MUCH room for improvement.

Do before and after dyno runs on the same day to validate the claims.

^^^ Agreed. IMO any short ram is for sound only; but who knows maybe your butt dyno will say otherwise.

 

Have you guys ever noticed that all these say "may get" or "could" or "possible". 30 years ago when factory intakes sucked you could see some gains, these days though it's a waste of money unless you just like the look for some reason.

yeah I've seen that intake awhile back, but never heard any reviews or anything about it...so yeah thanks for being the first or one of the first to pull the trigger on this.

Lol on the holiday ham...I got the intake on Wednsday been crazy with the holidays installing tomorrow... will try to get pics up tomorrow and maybe some video for sound clipswill also post some first impressions happy holidays all...
