Tune without HFCs, what would I be missing?

Just got my FI Intimidator catback installed, and let me say its awesome, sounds great, looks great. I will eventually put on a Stillen Gen 3, then think about getting it tuned. I know the usual route is Catback, Intakes, HFCs, then tune, but honestly I don't know if I could stand for the car to be any louder than it is now. So I was thinking of forgoing HFCs. Any estimates on how much power I would be losing without them? Maybe its not even worth doing and I should just stay Catback only?

There are other benefits to an UpRev tune other than just pure power, so I would take that into account as well.

I'd definitely pass on the HFCs if concerned with loudness/drone, gain's aren't really that much worth it (nor or any N/A mods if you ask me lol)

If you are worried about sound then I'd pass on them because they will make quite a difference. As far as the tune the HFC shouldn't make much of a difference.

a safe tune is always good regardless of how many mods you have. and usually your first breather mod nets the most HP, which is why hfcs or test pipes are a good option if you are limited in funds

Any tune will help, even on a completely stock car.

Pretty much every G37 has the same exact tune however due to manufacturing differences and acceptable tolerances when things are being put together they do not all run the same. Infiniti has to compensate for both ends of the spectrum when designing a general tune for these cars, a tune that will work in EVERY G37 that comes off the line. They also have to keep things in check when it comes to emissions. Thats where the term Factory Freak came from, every here and there you come across a car that by stroke of luck was put together using parts with tolerances that worked better together and with the OEM tune than the rest and as a result puts out better than average power in comparison to the cars that were put together right next to it.

You put your car on the dyno with a decent tuner and he/she will pick up whatever Infiniti left on the table. Might be a few ponies could be more you never know but it will be worth something.

Stillen Stage 3 FI hfc's or test pipes FI cat back *(you already have) & a tune.

Yes it will be louder, but will sound way better as long as you don't use headers.

Then it will be over the top loud.
