I just want to squeal some wheels, man.

I'll be honest: I want to be able to squeal the wheels on my 7AT without having to use the brake method. And unless I've been interpreting everything wrong, a proper tune will allow my throttles to open more responsively when I floor the gas pedal, so there is a more sudden burst of power (thus allowing this phenomenon of "peeling out," which I hear really drives the ladies off the walls).

I've heard about quite a few different options: COBB, Hypertech, Blitz, and some chip that plugs into your pedal harness.

Which would be most economic, yet provide good quality for the results I seek?

Thanks

Some other options to consider may be neutral drops or tranny swap for the 6MT.

Is it really that hard to get the tires loose in a 7AT?

Surprisingly, yeah. Maybe it's just that I'm using summer tires and it's still in the 80 degree's outside?

I know once it really starts raining here, it'll be much easier. But still. Just have an itch I need to scratch, y'know?

bald tires for the win, or loss. My tires are going. I got a little wheel spin going for a second or 3.

1. Open parking lot.
2. VDC OFF.
3. Turn wheel all the way left or right.
4. Floor it.

That should satisfy your craving.

I always turn off VDC for it. Around corners, I have no problems, believe me. But straight line, not happening. My 0-60 just feels pathetic, and not even a chirp come from those damn wheels.
