I have the ClutchMasters FX200 (Stage II) clutch with their lightweight flywheel and it's great. Basically the same as previous posters' experiences. I do get the chatter but since the OEM slave cylinder went out again (8months since the install) I'll be replacing it with the ZSpeed CFC and I'm gonna try the RedLine combo as previously stated.

I'm running the Southbend TZR clutch along with their Steel Flywheel and metal CSC. So far I have no issues with it other than the notorious rattle given off by the lightweight flywheel.

Yeah, like my post says above, the ClutchMasters stage II is a good one as well and I hear good things about Southbend. I would definitely recommend you get the metal CSC as well or else you'll blow the OEM plastic one within a few thousand (if not hundred) miles.

Shifting is still smooth even when cold even with the higher viscosity fluid in there.

For anyone is annoyed by the chatter after a solid mass flywheel install, this will cure it.

What's the recommended mix ratio?

MT-85 is recommended for out tranny now so there's no need to mix.

Thanks for sharing everyone! Any other updates or recommendations? My TOB is going to go out soon so I figured I might as well get everything as a fresh start since this will be a prettty big job... Ive already decided to go with the zspeed CSC and zspeed CMC and I do not have any big plans for HP mods anytime soon so I want to go with something as close to OEM as possible.. any input would be great..

There is no zspeed master cylinder. They sell an oem nissan part (probably at better prices than dealer). If you saw one on their site, got a link?

Nissan OEM Clutch Master Cylinder 370Z G37 is the oem one.

I'm running the Z1 full-face disk and lightweight flywheel with ZSpeed HD CSC and replaced with OEM CMC at time of install. Stock engagement but it's obviously more stiff than OEM clutch. Currently holding 510whp/440wtq with no issues. My previous tune was 464wtq and it held that with no issues too.

Oh and as been stated previously, it chatters and sounds like a F250 Diesel.

Ive read through this thread and I think I'm sold on the Southbend kit, with the HD CMC.

BB, what made you choose stage 3 over stage 2?

My car is a daily and I dont track or drag. Just the basix I/H/E bolt ons. My CMC just gave out for the second time since buying the car brand new in 2008 but currently with only 48,xxx miles on the odometer. Had it replaced to another OEM CMC 3 years ago.

This time, I will be replacing the clutch, flywheel, slave and master cylinder while the tranny is out.

Has anyone tried the CZP clutch package with the billet flywheel and silent Disc?
I'm looking into purchasing one with the next 2 months and want to keep the noise(chatter) to a minimum. Also will opting not to get the stage 3 southbend clutch and choosing the stage 1 make a difference in the amount of noise?
Thanks in advance
Charlie

I have a 2012 IPL and I miss the pedal feel from my 2004 coupe. I'm assuming all newer coupes have the same light pedal feel but I'm looking to upgrade the clutch to get a heavier pedal and better feel/control. I don't plan on doing any major hp mods. I don't want to spend a lot on a new clutch either but want to get a good one. What should I get? Do I need to replace flywheel also? Is this something I can tackle myself? Thanks.

I'm very close to purchase. I called zspeed about the southbend stage 2 package, and he actually recommended thier ez street quiet option with the 20lb billet flywheel, & cmak v2. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger and go with that. (As much as I've read about reliability on the southbend, I've heard just as much about exedy. Which is where the pressure plate and disk are sourced from in this package). Since i havent received or found any feedback on it, I'll go ahead and ginnie pig, and check back in around 1000k. When are you looking to make your purchase?
