but i guess you get the added benefit of not voiding your warranty...
So your telling me that if I tune my car with an UpRev Tune, my warranty will void?

Better way to do it is get a tune AND throttle tables adjust however you want. Get more HP, Torque and FEEL it...lol.

Just to clarify even with a tune you still have throttle lag. My g is tuned with uprev an it still had lag. The sprint booster amps the signal from your gas pedal to the ecu and no more lag. Bye bye. The blitz controller does not do that . Install with the booster takes only ten minutes.

[QUOTE=Weiboy718;2974291]what's the install procedure? i might be interested![/B. There are wires that run from the back of your gas pedal to the ecu. Unplug the wire from the pedal plug in the booster and plug the wire into the booster and u r done.

yeah, the drive by wire harness. so basically this is only a chip that you installed right?

That's because they didn't adjust your throttle tables most likely. Obviously Cobb has that ability, I'd imagine so does Uprev.. they just have to do it and most won't touch them by default. This device and Throttle table adjustment are the same. The ability to swap different settings though is nice buy could be mimiced with different maps.

They did adjust my throttle. The booster is not the same. It only boost the signal from your gas pedal to your ecu so you have no lag. Please do some research before you comment and confuse.

From the site:

This modified signal forces the throttle body to open 'more' than the stock signal at a given pedal position. In effect, the idle-to-full-throttle pedal travel is reduced. This makes your car 'feel' more powerful because a given pedal input produces greater throttle opening. This is especially evident in the low to mid rpm range where most cars spend their time on the street.

I stand corrected.. editiing the thottle body position relative to the pedal position by the throttle tables in no way accomplishes the same thing

here's what i think it will do: eliminate throttle lag in cars with electronic chip controlled throttle by bypassing the chip and tells it u pressed the pedal 2 seconds earlier than u actually did. absolutely no increase in hp, just better throttle response, which makes u think the car is faster.

Who cares if there isnt no "HP" gain, us people want is no throttle lag and we got it plain and simple.
