Forged Performance: All the way from Texas for Evaluation, Tein, & Tune!

I just wanted to share with you a recent car that came to us from a several states away. These were a great group of guys that drove all the way from Houston TX to Forged Performance for some work to be performed.

Current power mods: Berk HFC's, MXP catback exhaust, Stillen Headers, Injen Intake, and Uprev.

The customer was frustrated with the lack of performance out of his G37. He thought there was something seriously wrong with his car, and his performance modss were not adding up. I convinced him to take a drive to Atlanta and we would make it worth his trip. We started off by giving him one of our Forged Performance - Performance Evaluation's & Tune. If you are not sure what that is we do a comprehensive inspection throughout the whole vehicle to find out the overall condition of the car. (Check Spark Plugs, Compression test, Leak down test, Smoke test, Inspect all fluids, Inspect for fluid leaks, Inspect Exhaust for Leaks, Brake components, Suspension, and much more!) We finished up the Performance Evaluation and the car came out great! He decided while he was here to go ahead and purchase a set of Tein flex coilovers, and GT Spec front strut bar for improved handling. We installed these items and set the ride height to his specifications & gave him a performance alignment.

Off to the dyno!

Sharif had the vehicle strapped down on the dyno and wanted see what all the baseline would be. Sharif's baseline on our Dyno Dynamics was 256.2 Horsepower. A few hours later after perfecting the tune his car he managed to get 273.5 HP with a naturally aspirated car safely. The customer was really happy and is ready for the next rounds of mods.

Danny thanks again for making the 1700 mile round trip to our shop. We look forward to your next visit in the near future. Greddy turbo kit & install.

We will keep you guys updated!

Was it a dynojet or mustang? Those numbers seem kind of low. Seen many stock numbers around 275hp.

Would you mind posting examples of the 3 different setups?
