nice post! ~
Quick question... im a bit of engine noob...
What would be the cheapest way to put a BOV on my g37s? I just love the sound of it but is there something like a cheap bolt on turbo kit that would do it for me? or could i get away with no turbo at all? I really dont know i just know paints and body mods

You can always try to buy a pair of blow valves and a pair of intake pipes, weld it in place and hook up the vacuum lines to it. See if that'll give the noise you're looking for without boost haha. If it doesn't work you can try getting the electronic supercharger too.

Turbo or Supercharger?
Let's just be very upfront with this guys. None of these kits are for the amateur back yard mechanic. Half the battle if not more is in the tuning of these things once they are installed. I've seen the best and the worst kits in the world installed on some cars and often it took a very experienced forced induction expert to get the car to run properly and then get the most out of the design of the system. Without that you are wasting your time and money. So a good portion of the cost will be added on to these kits if they are installed and tuned by an expert in your area. Don't be cheap here. A wrong setup and tuning can blow that engine in a NY minute. Then all you'll have is a pile of junk and will have to start all over again. Honestly the only thing I could ask for on my G37S coupe is a better throttle response when I down shift. That's going to take a reprogramming of the ECU more than having to have the engine super/turbo charged. The car I have is plenty fast on the track and my money is better spent on getting driver training and some stickier tires. Have fun however. It's your money and your car.
