Looking for 5AT gearbox part numbers

Hi guys,
Just wondering if anybody can tell me, or at least point me in the right direction...
I have the transmission shift issue with my 5at where it will go into D mode & stay there even if you try to shift into DS, my paddles still work but the shifter won't go into DS or manual mode
I need the part numbers for both the shifter assembly or the shift sensor. From searching on this fourm for similar issues apparently the shift sensor & shift assembly are the one unit?
They don't sell this car through the dealer network in Australia but they do sell the 350/370z, if anybody knows if they share the same gearbox parts on the autos it would make my search a whole lot easier

thanks in advance for any help

Your best bet is to call the dealership and see what they say. If they sell 350/370z's im sure they can help you out with your problem.

thanks for the reply, I already tried a few local dealers & gave them my Vin/chassis number, most just scratched their heads, the ones that did try to help couldn't find the model specifically (seems their database only covers local delivered vehicles & the older models eg. skyline R34 etc.)

didn't think it would be so difficult to track down part numbers, if anyone else out there can help me I'd really appreciate it!

Probably your best bet is for someone with the exact same configuration as you have to give a US dealership their VIN and get the appropriate part #'s. Just a guess.

Is your model US spec or JDM?

Thanks that sounds like a great idea or I may try emailing one of the Infiniti dealers that trade on here...
Yeah I have jdm model 370GT SP equivalent to G37s with leather/nav reverse & blind side mirror etc
with a bit of luck they might have corresponding part #s, the only issue with my local Nissan dealers here is their system doesn't pick up my VIN or even 370GT model so they can't access the catalogue unless I have specific part numbers they can search for

Well then theoretically you'll have the exact same issue dealing with a US dealership, wouldn't you? If Aussie dealers don't have JDM model part numbers Anerican ones won't either. Call a Japanese dealership.

You may be right, but at least I can try & see if any part numbers correlate, & it would still mean I can source parts from the states if all else fails
I doubt they would use different parts for the shift sensor & shift assembly between different specs of g37 coupes & it's basically the same kit as jdm skyline 370gt beside a few cosmetic differences
thanks for the help guys
