My twin turbo kit came with its own intake system. I had the stillen gen 3 intake but they had to be taken off for the kit. also had headers along with a borla exhaust I dont have.

Um, yes. 2 intakes & 2 filters. I think that price for the Stillin Gen 3 should be for the whole kit. But I'm not sure why you'd get the K&N drop in filters if you're going to install one of those intakes.

If you skip the intakes and go for filters, also check out the "HKS Super Hybrid Air Filters." Those are non-oiled and come well-recommended here. Around the same price for 2 as the K&N.

talked with performance shop guy and have decided on FI exhaust with Stillen gen 3 intake and Cobb access port for the first additions. The FI and HKS exhaust have 2 separate mufflers unlike most, stillen has 2 but they are next to each other and loop around allowing for more pipe but given off less in the sound department. Should cost about $3000 for everything and installation.

congrats on the new stuff! get ready to wait for the FI exhaust lol

that sounds like WAY too much to be paying...you can DIY the Gen3 intake in <1 hour (1-2 if it's your first time around the car)

$1300 FI Exhaust
$ 500 Stillen Intake
$ 500 Cobb Access
$ 260 Installation

$2560 Total + tax + shipping, to be exact

would i be overpaying? installation price seemed reasonable, i actually thought it would be much more lol

oh, NM that was completely my bad...I missed the Cobb...yeah with that in there it's a fair price.

I still would DIY but that's just b/c I love working on the G myself. $260 for the exhaust+intake install is a very reasonable price

what did you say about having to wait for the FI exhaust, are they back ordered? and if so how long is the wait right now?
