Can 7At handle FI?

Sam makes his woman ride on the family camel.
Obviously you really have no choice.
Unless you want to teach your wife stick.
(I had the same situation, I took the auto)
people on here that aren't married, have no clue.
You can't just tell your spouse to go take a hike, Unless you want a divorce.
Im running FI with 5 a/t no issues.
And if it blows so what, ill man up and fix it.
Besides 6 speed is a major hassle & why bother for a .10 of a second faster, please.
Most of the time you are not gonna be racing around.
Auto will do just fine.

Not sure if I'd agree that a boosted MT is faster than a boosted AT. Boosted or not, I think it's only true if the driver hits all the shifts perfectly.
IMO, make the AT / MT decision based on how you (and your wife) plan to use the car. If I were to use it a lot on a road course, I would lean toward the MT. 1/4 mile times are usually better with an AT. I'd also go with an auto if it is primarily a daily driver that see traffic.
My wife knows how to drive a manual, but she's still nervous about driving my car even with an auto.

not saying women don't rock the 6sp.
just saying if they don't it's no biggie to have an auto.
also people act like auto is so crappy.
more than half the people I run are 6mt.
not what people think.
except it's better for burnouts.

Hah. Camel Power. Do you have any camel hop when accelerating fast?
TO RISKY GUY
1.) How much hp/tq are you running
2.) Did you put in a tranny cooler with your twin turbo?
3.) Install valve body?
4.) What about oil cooler?

I'll chime in here. I have a 7AT and will be putting a stage 2 GTM SC in my car. I will have LTH and cat back. In addition to the SC I am installing a tranny and an oil coolerer as well as a Valve body upgrade. My wife also will drive this car daily to work when it is not snowing out. So I think the 7AT will be fine and my wife knowes how to drive.

VinnyTenRacing built the world's first twin turbo JWT M35 and he's running fine with the automatic... he has the tranny cooler and a valve body installed with it beign daily driven
I love it when she's mad and lights up the rear tires.
Ive had FI in one way or another for over 60,000 miles on the 5at with no problems and its my DD.The first FI was the lame *** stillen stage 4 but the last 20,000 or so miles has been with the Greddy twins.I do have a v/b upgrade and large trans cooler to.
2 no trans cooler, as now not needed I don't have twins.
3 no valve body upgrade as of yet(lis of things to do)
4 no oil cooler.
I have a 100 shot with a cobb tube.
told it's never going to work without problems.
5 months and I only blew a tranducer(faulty part)
so I'm not tt or sc but forced induction for thoose moments when you gotta open the whoop5ss.

Risky Guy and superchargeg Do you find that the G tranny has to search for the gears say when you are going 30 and then floor it, cause of all the extra horses and tq.
