COBB Tuning Nissan Forced Induction Build Thread!
COBB Tuning Surgeline just picked up this 2006 350Z Track Edition. It will be our newest R&D and test vehicle for AccessPORT and AccessTUNER development and is slated to be our test mule for forced induction testing. This car will see lots of dyno time, local track days and drag events. Trey thinks he might even be able to shame Tim in his GT-R with the twin turbo kit we plan to install.
The first modification will be a COBB Tuning AccessPORT and then some exhaust modifications and more tuning. Stay tuned to this blog and your favorite Nissan or Z-related forum, as we will be chronicling the buildup of this car over the next several months. For more information on the COBB Tuning AccessPORT for the 350Z go to our website or visit COBBTuning Surgline. We will be updating this thread with photos and updates, stay tuned!

Nice! Update us when you Learn how to tune the VQ and FI lol
As for g37, once FI is learned how to be tuned with the vq35 it will be learned how with the 37. You need to do step A first before you get to B. Technosquare and UpRev been tuning VQ with FI for a bit now and now playing with the 37 ecus. So now I assume Cobb wants to step it up, but they got a long way to go. Cause options are already out, if your FI and want to flash, you can do uprev or technosquare, if you want heavy FI and built motor etc etc you dont want just a flash anyways, I'd run a hks fcon vpro or a haltech ems over a flash if I had a built motor, even then I didnt like flash I went str8 off with a fcon vpro even when I was on a stock block with my hks sc on the 35. Btw hks fcon vpro = 3K INSTALLED AND TUNED lol and with my A/F Knock Amp it was 4500 installed and tuned. But you want the best you gotta pay

In the same boat as everyone else.. get timing working on the G37 ..pretty shameful to throw in our faces all the R&D your going to waste away on an old *** Z that everyone and their mother has, but yet cant step it up for the new 370z at least or even better our G37s ? while we sit here and eat dust with APs that have ****ty maps and cant control half the motors functions!!!

I can give them respect and props for trying to step it up. But with my experience with this car and my knowledge of what's out there for it, COBB You Will not Make a Big Profit by tuning the VQs right now especially for built motors and FI etc. There's too many successful options out there already. Not saying to give up, but think again is it really worth it? I know Cobb is doing the GT-R, and if anything that is a Success, but 350z and g35? Nah Uh
