SES light on after tune, error code

I got a check engine light on yesterday.

Used the cobb to diagnose trouble code indicated ECU dtc.

I reset the ses light, but it feels like i lost some of the throttle response.

Anyone else have this happen after a tune??

Well did you just put something on before you uploaded the map?

And what is the code / description?

I have an inquirey into our engineering team to see if this is an ECU fault or may have been influenced by the AccessPORT. Stay tuned and I will update this thread with information from our engineers in the near future.

My check engine light came on the first time I loaded a map. It was the same error code you had (ECU DTC, E1024 I think). I cleared the error, and have not had any issues since. The light has not come back on over the course of the last few weeks. When you reset the code, you also reset what the factory ECU has "learned" with the new map. Drive around for a while and any loss in power/throttle should come back (drive aggressively as possible).

I am not sure why I got the check engine light in the first place, but it does not seem that is caused any problems. I am running the Cobb stage 1 91 octane map. Cobb installed it, so the install should not have been a problem. They obviously did not notice the light because they said nothing about it. I am bringing my car in tomorrow for a tune, and I will bring it up then. If I get any additional information, I will pass it on....

You guys are funny.... I have an 09 sedan, and when I talked to UpRev a couple of weeks ago, they were at least a couple months out. Sam has been doing 08's for a while now. I am not sure about 09's....

I will add, I got my car tuned at Cobb yesterday. So far so good. I gained a whopping 6HP/6TQ with my bone stock car. I know people will question why I tuned a bone stock car, and it was because Cobb offered it for free. As I start to add mods, I plan to do the additional tuning myself, but I figured this new map will be a good starting point. The car really does feel a lot better, throttle response is night and day, and that was my biggest complaint about this car. I would like for Cobb to figure out the ignition timing; that is where most of the gains will come from on 93 octane. If they don't get it figured out, I may switch to the UpRev when it comes out. Lucky for me, I have both Cobb and UpRev close by.
