09+Nissan+370Z+08-09+Infiniti+G37+Plenum+Spacer

No thoughts at this time. We will have to see gains claims.

 

I haven't heard anything about plenum spacers from any vendors. Didn't know if there were any working on it, but this video seems to imply that they are.

 

Will it even have any gains?

G35 had a design flaw. It was corrected with the G37, seems like these would be pointless. I could be wrong though. Hope to see dynos.

sorry, no experience with the VQ35s here

 

The VQ35 plenum had a design flaw where the front cylinders didn't receive proper air flow. The spacer added extra volume in the plenum to allow proper flow to the front cylinders. Usually provided a 10-15 hp gain on rev-up engines.

I was told that problem was corrected with the G37. We will find out once they post dynos.

 

Ding ding ding. This is correct. Doubt this will do any good for our car.

 

my friend told me we don't need plenum spacers cuz we have dual intakes. the g35 coupe only has 1 and that's why they use the spacer for more air flow

 

Im done modding my car for speed, its useless. Its all about looks with this car, I mean if i wanted a fast car I wouldve bought something else...

 

amen to that brother, Takes people years to understand that. Unless u go turbo or s/c ur going to waste, 10s of thousands. and Always be worried...It's never going to be a 10 11 second daily driver....

If u wanted something to be stupid fast, Evo, sti, or about any car that comes f/i'd from factory.

 

you have a point too, yeah go boost or go home, i had vq35 with boost, loved it. Spacer made a difference definitely when your NA though for that car, but i dont think the g37s needs it either, nissan engineers designed this car amazing.

As for your last line, stupid fast is not a evo or sti, i dumped my evo to get a g35 and boost it hahahaha, fvck evos n stis, its like a camry with a wing and different motor to me, just fast, nothing else, in the end of the day you still say you own a mitusbishi, embarrassing lol, its 2009, gotta go luxury too. But then again this is Only my opinion.

and thats the reason why I dont own one. lol and trust me, I know evos that run lol, they'll eat up about any vq35 that i know>> except the ones with fully built block twins and solid rear...
