please help

please help

here the story.. my car is on 820 miles only.. it didnt even reach the 1000!!.. on the night my friend called me to say hi and talk.. and i said sure just gimme 20min and ill be there.. okey and i arrive there and i kept the engine on. bcuz im near the car and he is near his car.. but when i get out of my car i hear something from engine knocking its like a big truck engine.. u guys feel me? understand what sound im talking about? and i called the dealer. he said just bring the car.. and he will update the compter of the car.. but im not sure if its from compter or not.. please guys if u have any expierens about this sound please tell me i wanna know as soon as possible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It could be from many things. The first two places I would check are (1) the engine oil level and (2) whether the gasoline in the car has the required octane rating. Or it simply could be that the idle RPM is too low as your dealership suggests.

ummmm i dont think its from RPM i never went over 4k RPM my car still new.. so what u say?

Just take it to the dealer, they will be able to tell you what the problem is much better than anyone on here

Search around for VVEL knock and ester oil. sounds like that issue perhaps?

umm thanks for the link! but hmm so as the dealer said to me? he will reprogram my car.. and everything will be fine right??

well if this is the problem, the dealer will said to you "your car will be fine, and you will be paying me $100 per oil change from now on"
