Anyone knows what trigger the Body Control Module (BCM) code? I was at the track when SES light came on. Car felt like it has no torque at all but still has a good pull on top-end. Output was around 70%. I used my AP to clear it. Once cleared the car runs normal.

 

BCM could be a TON of different things. It's really hard to diagnose exactly what it might be (at lest for me it is).

This is the first I have heard of the G37 throwing a BCM code.

 

The car is fine as of now. All I did was put race gas and lower the tire pressure. VDC was off but it won't let me get-off the line hard enough.

 

BCM is usually something electronic, isn't it? BCM controls a ton of things and that's why it's hard to diagnose. Some folks with BCM issues have symptoms that appear and disappear seemingly randomly. I have an older Maxima and still haven't been able to figure out what's causing my issues related to BCM (I think). Hopefully yours goes away and stays away.

 

Yeah, it usually monitor all electronic stuff except the engine. It shouldn't be anything major. I hope.
