wow such noob advice. you dont need to build these motors. the stock vq37hr pistons and rods are just as beefy as aftermarket parts for the vq35. those were the weakest part of those engines and caused the most problems. you can run over 400rwhp easy as long as you have a good install and tune without issue.

How many boosted vq37hr's are out there? I'd like to agree with you but I haven't heard of too many yet. The only one that keeps sticking in my mind was being rebuilt due to bending rods.

isnt that the forged one? forged said the rods were bent before the installation, right? how many other g's rods on the road have such problem? not a single one.

you're right - not many. however, there are a few vq35hr motors and the vq37hr motors are a little beefier than those.
