VP Racing gas in SoCal

I went for a cruise tonight and came across a gas station called "VP Racing." It is located on Haven Ave. just north of the 60 fwy. They sell VP Racing 100 octane for $8.99 a gallon right out of their pump. I know Riverside Infiniti sells it too but just wanted to share this info. because it pretty cool to just be able to pull up at the pump for this... The owner said there is only three places in California that offer this at the pump.

Haha gamedog, they sell 100 octane on Hamner Ave. near 4th street across from Stater Bros...closer to home, no?

Of course, then I'd have to ask you why the hell you're putting 100 octane into your car lol.

you guys gotta stop fvcking wif ur motors adding those fuels, especially when you're not tuned on a map for it, running higher octane map on your stock 91 map is a no no, it can be done, but it's like doing druuuugs, over time, it's gonna killll Unless u have a tuned map for it then have fun!

He's right, extended use of high octane race fuel in a street car will damage your cats. The fuel burns at a slower rate and ends up continuing the burn on the way past the exhaust valves which puts a lot of heat into your cats.
I had to change out a cat on a Lotus Elise that was used for SCCA competition, it was fully stock but the guy ran 100 octane in it long enough to cause his cat to partially melt down causing a power loss.
I'm sure you guys probably would'nt be able to afford to run enough to cause this but besides the dangers to the converter with a stock map your really not going to get anything out of it but better smelling exhaust.
