I got Black Betty's set in 8 awg just to improve AT shifting. No electronics adds planned. I with BB because I liked the quality, great reviews from everyone, wanted a color to make it subtle (used carbon flex on OB car and it blends in well). He was great to work with and I think it was worth it.

Agree not a main concern, but if have multiple choices with same functional benefit then I will always go with the best looking option. So to me the BBGK look was a + and it was less $ than others so an easy decision.

They are worth it. Paddle shifts are almost instant now. I went with the 4's because of future plans for the car. Go for it...use Black Betty.

I picked one up from stillen for like $60 about 6 months ago and the difference is definitely there! Sometimes though it will shift hard like an smg, but I like that

Noticed same thing. Can be a real solid shift like an SMG especailly 2-3 gear around 4-6K rpm.
