-is it ok to drive in automatic mode and switch into manual mode while driving at any speed?
-do u burn less gas in manual mode?
-is the car faster in manual mode?
- If you are cruising it shouldnt be an issue, if you are driving hard and switch to manual there will be more stress on the tranny, but it wont blow up.
-depends on how you drive, if you shift at low RPMs, then yes. If you go to redline in every gear, no.
-Its faster in that it will hold the gear all the way to redline, but if you dont shift in time you will hit the fuel cutoff, thus you will be slower accelerating. But you dont unlock any HP by switching to MM. The best 0-60s are usually hit in DS mode (auto shifting).
