I think is every day they have it even weekends. You got only 7 more days left? Damn I got 20 days to go. How is Infiniti Consumer Affairs about talking to you. I have asked for a supervisor and I'm still waiting for them to call me back.

Infiniti Cosumer Affairs is scheduling asap for a Infiniti Specialist to go look at my car. Meanwhile Service has changed the Air/fuel mixer sensor in my car and claim that is much better but the problem still there a little bit.

The Infiniti Specialist saw my car today and said that he thinks is a combination of 2 cylinders one on each side of the engine that is causing the problem. So they are just going to replace everything on both banks he said. The parts should come in Tuesday and we will see. I'll let you guys know.

Hey G37SUM do you think this problem will be listed in our cars carfax and therefore reduce the car value whenever we try to sell the car later on?

If it belonged to a customer of mine and they had the same symptoms that you have described...I would put it on a 5 gas analyzer when cold to see if the HC's are high. If HCs high = ignition problem HCs low = fuel problem. You said it had a misfire code. Did the ses light flash at anytime? Maf problems can give you a lean stumble..cause a surging problem..Misfire was it a PO 300 or was it a PO301, 302 303..specific to a cyl#. 303=cyl #3, PO300 is a random misfire...give us the codes, there are special scan tools that have software to find fuel related (fuel trim) problems. E-Scan is just one. Sometimes O.E. takes a while to work the bugs out. Its easy for us to say be patient...so far mine runs flawlessly...1100 miles..I would leave the car get their loaner and I would tell them to call me when It's ready.

Funny how they always blame it on the gas, I use regular unleaded, no problems. Try an ECU reset, that should help.

Thanks Tony for the advice.

Well guys the Service Manager is off this week. But they pretty much replaced the entire top of my engine and seems to be fine now. The main parts were the fuel rack, fuel injectors. and so on. I'm pissed because I just wanted it replaced but the dealership will not do it unless it falls under the lemon law. So now I am going to try with Infiniti Consumer Affairs. When I got the car back I noticed:
The front bumper had some chips on the paint.
The front grille was chiped.
The hood had one small chip.
So by now I was just flipping out to the service guy and he was pissed because this things happen when you drive the car and they had to drive it to test it. Long story short I spoke with the sales manager and they are going to repaint my hood, front bumper, and replace the front grille. Once the Service Manager comes back next week. I will get the full report of everything they performed on my car. Hopefully this helps you out G37SUM. Let me know how your car turns out. Oh yeah since I am so picky they recommended me getting the clear bra after they repaint the car. What do you guys think about that? Did anyone get it? And how much did you guys pay?

Honestly, i'm not sure why you lost your religion over chips in your front area. firstly, sh|t happens. secondly, our paint is SOFT. I have rock chips like crazy in my front bumper, hood, grill, and windshield... am I crying? No, because ultimately, it's just a car.

If you're likely to get that bent out of shape over it, then yes, get a clear bra or two.

Not trying to be a *****, just hope you get a little perspective. I'm sorry about your real problems though.
