How Do Aftermarket Companies Decide To Develop For The G37?
Anybody know how this works? Is it simply a matter of sales numbers for the car and of how many of a certain make and model's owners show interest in their products? Last week, I called Vortech, Greddy, and Stillen to ask if they were developing any forced induction kits for our car. All of them said pretty much the same thing: "They're thinking about it." What do you guys think would convince them? Anybody else take a couple minutes to let them know that there's interest? It can't hurt, right.
Can any members who have called any aftermarket tuners to show interest in more engine mods post here? Just for curiousity's sake, I guess. Here's who I've contacted so far:
-Vortech
-Greddy
-Stillen
-Technosquare

Sounds good to me. I plan on calling these companies every 1-2 months to check up on any new performance parts available. I figure it doesn't take too much of my time and effort. Anybody else wanna do the same?

From what my sponsors have told me, they are waiting on the 370z for most products to see how similiar things are so they don't have to design two totally different kits if they don't have too, also some companies base numbers off past G35 sales, if their products hardly made any sales on the G35, their in no rush to develop for the G37.
