Electronically governed top speed?

Does anyone have any real evidence that there is even a top speed governor on our cars? For some reason, I'm pretty sure there is not. And I'd also guess that the car is capable of the full 160 MPH on the speedometer. Just a guess.

If the speedometer on the car will read accurately with the front wheels not moving at all, a dyno would be a safe place to find out.

I'm pretty sure she'll do 160. Just a guess.

Which makes me guess that the top speed governor is nonexistent.

It is all mind games guys. Hey Black Betty didn't post in another thread asking if the G37 was a Skyline or something along those lines and denying that it was to create a riot? lol I will have to search for that thread to see if that was you.

There post to be governed at 156mph and fuel cut at 164mph. Read this somewhere. Nothing that a reflash couldn't take care of. My Z also was governed at 156. I know personaly many times.

The G35 was governed @ 147, haven't been that fast in the G37, I'm sure a lot of you have but I doubt it will make out @ 160 at least 5AT.
