Electronically governed top speed?

Just to add my .02 I can only get 145ish out of my 5mt. I would like to know if an ECU reflash would take care of this limit?

Most likely it would, this would be something that can be reprogged.

I did not know this on the G. I know many cars are not like this and do not have limiters on the cruise. For instance I know BMWs will let you set the cruise all the way to 155mph. I guess it is more practical for the Germans with the autobahn.

^That makes sense. Most if not all the cars I have heard of in the States had a limit on the speed setting for cruise control.

yaaaa i have tried and tried but no! it wont go over 140mph i tought it was normlfor the auto but people here have gone more in their auto!

hit 143 with mine at Lake Castaic last week....thats all mine goes to..i wonder what wonders the ECU Flash will do for this
