Baseline dyno of my G37s

I had also thought that if a builder states that motor has 330 Hp when doing a dyno it can be a 3-5% difference this is over 10% < I know that there is a loss of power too the rear wheels but should not ne that much at the crank ,,,so than they are giving wrong info,,,,

Actually, the loss to the wheels is anywhere from 15-18% depending on if you have a manual or automatic. It also changes from dyno to dyno. When you take that into consideration 330 at the crank is a reasonable number....

More people should dyno their G37's.....seems like only a handful have done this so far.
Exactly. The number only matters as a baseline. Do all your future dyno's on the same machine with the same settings to see how the mod's effect your power.

Nice stock numbers. Damn, I knew my g/f should have gotton the 6speed. I cant wait to dyno hers.

Most shops charge somewhere between $60 and $120 for a power test. The price can vary, based on the type of dyno, the type of car, geographic location..etc..etc. I would say that average is about $75-$100.
